Grant 'Axe' Rawlinson: "Rowing from Home to Home"

RGS-Singapore presents Grant 'Axe' Rawlinson—a human powered explorer and team decision-making coach. For 20 years Axe has been exploring the world's more remote and extreme environments in his preferred mode - lightweight, two-person teams, using only human power and as little support as practically possible.

With over 50 expeditions under his belt from the remote Karakoram mountains of Northern Pakistan, exploratory first ascents in Kazakstan to the summit of Mt Everest, Axe will share how his focus has shifted in recent years to making world-first, exploratory human-powered journeys starting right here in South-East Asia. He will focus on his current expedition - 'Rowing from Home to Home' - his attempt to travel from Singapore to New Zealand completely by human power.
